This very tactile piece shows off the complexity of Laburnum and its colouring. The new growth or sap wood appears a cream colour and the older established heart wood takes on rich brown tones, almost black in a few places. Turned from freshly felled local wood this piece looks fabulous on a surface and can be put to work serving fruit or salad.
